Issue on "Monitoring SNMP trap" object

Hi,

I've created a runbook that monitors the SNMP events of the  runbooks in Orchestrator. Recently, I am encountering an issue using the  "Monitor SNMP trap" object which at some point it failed to execute and returns an error "Unexpected error occurred during event execution.". Also, I noticed that after this instance happened it can still send me the SNMP events which state that "Unable to connect to port 162. Another application may be connected to the same port." and automatically STOP the runbook. In order to remediate this issue, I just START again the runbook but I am still wodering why this happened. I havent found any article that could possibly explain the root cause of this issue. Has anyone already encountered this issue?

Regards,

Mark

Hi,

Opalis is the previous product of Orchestrator. Orchestrator Forums are located here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?category=systemcenterorchestrator

Is Update Rollup 2 for System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 installed? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2802159/en-us It fixes an issue with "Monitor SNMP Trap" Activity  (KB2828193).

Stefan
